How is money made on the internet ?

Well, what we are looking at falls under the home business category in which you can work from the comfort of your home, at your convenience with no boss breathing down your neck.

Well, money is made by selling products either digital (e-books, reports, etc) or physical products. Here we are dealing mostly with digital products. The products can be your own, i.e. created by you or you could be selling products created by others as an affiliate.

When it is your own product, you naturally get to keep 100% of the profits, whereas when you sell other people’s products, you receive a commission, sometimes even up to 70% of the price.

There is also another situation in which you get to keep 100% of the profits and that is when you sell products with resell rights. This will be dealt with in another post.
So what a newbie needs to learn about are the tools and the different business models that are used to achieve sales. The great thing about marketing through the internet is that the whole world is your market !
Though there are many articles, videos and posts which add complementary information, to learn the basics of making money on the internet, the newbie should first read Rosalind Gardner’s “The Super Affiliate Handbook” and then join for one of the training programs of Chris Farrell, Mark Ling and Ewen Chia  to start with, along with the other programs that will be featured on this website in future.

 The resell rights products will come with all the required files. After you buy it, you will need to download it into your computer it into a special folder created by you for this purpose. This is for easy location of the files when you need to access it.

The files that would be provided normally depending on the type of resell rights are the sales page, the product, the thank you or download page, image files, etc.

These files are usually delivered as .zip files and you would need to unzip them. Next you will have to open the sales page, thank you page, etc using the HTML tool and make necessary changes like adding the price, a PayPal payment button and other minor changes as required.

Private label resell products cover a wide variety of different things.  Online, you will find that most of these products include software programs, e-books, articles, and source codes.  These products are popular because they are high in demand.

Here, we are looking at articles with private label rights. These are articles on various subjects and once you buy PLR articles, you become its owner and you can change it anyway you want and even brand yourself as its author.

If you are going to use PLR, you must first rewrite parts of it to make it unique. Changes should be made to the title and the introductory paragraph and also the summary at the end. You should even rewrite the body of the article by changing words and phrases but retaining the general idea of the article. The end result will be a fresh new article which you can call your own.

Why do you have to do this ? Because many others will be buying the same articles and you definitely don’t want to feature the same content on your website.
